ROOT CANAL THERAPY

Your root canal therapy is in the best of hands

Root canal is a common procedure.  The aim of root canal treatment is the correction of infections and disorders in the dental pulp.

This is important because the pulp is made up of soft tissue like vessels and nerves and once those nerves are damaged then the patient could experience sharp pain and it could lead to abscesses.

If you have been experiencing sharp pain in your teeth and/or gums or any other discomfort, then it may be beneficial for you to contact us for an examination and to find out whether or not you require this procedure.

The staff at the Centre of Dental Excellence will strive to find the best possible solution for your dental needs and guarantee you a quality service as our patient.

To remove the infection in the root canal and preserve, we will first have to clean the pulp of the tooth in question and then proceed to remove the nerve from the root canal. The next step will then be to fill the pulp with a special material which simultaneously prevents the infection from getting back in and seals the tooth.

Once this part of the procedure is complete, the final step will be to restore the tooth by applying a crown or filling which should prevent it from breaking in the future.
