offers free secondary student dental care for under-18s
Up until the age of 18, dentistry in New Zealand is free for children and secondary school students. Centre of Dental Excellence provides dental care for adolescents from Year 9 up until the age of 18 whether they are attending a learning institution or not.

This can cover a range of different services such as:
- General check-ups
- Fillings for cavities caused by tooth decay
- Preventative dentistry such as fissure sealant
- Hygiene services for the maintenance and good practice of oral hygiene
- Dentures to replace lost teeth
